What Is Twelve Rolling Stones?

Twelve Rolling Stones is a collaborative online blog run by young adults in the San Fernando Valley. Living and growing up surrounded by great exposure to the music industry, the writers of Twelve Rolling Stones seek to critically deconstruct various musical genres, artists, albums, and songs as well as shed light on less mainstream artists. A spin off of the infamous music sect of the magazine "Rolling Stone," Twelve Rolling Stones seeks to delve deeper into the essence of music itself and de-commercialize what music means to the "millennial" generation.


MEET THE WRITERS

12 Rolling Stones was founded by Ally Bahk (17) in December 2016, and she continues to facilitate the page as well as contribute as a regular review-writer for this site. Currently, other authors (both active and inactive) include Max Yourist (17), Emily Mavromates (17), Alec Cannold (17), Ezra Hecht (18), Annalisa Martin (15), Amanda Kovacs (15), Aimee Hall (17), Jacob Thomas (17), and Matt Nissen (19). Heavily passionate about the music industry, its history, and community, these individuals show great passion through musical deconstruction and analysis reviews/articles. Combining their knowledge, skills, and personal experience, these young individuals are eager to explore the world of music, studying the skill, relativity, and craftsmanship that various songs, albums, artists, musicians, and genres have to offer the world today.
